I will not stop here | Overcoming Limitations | Chapter 7: Rediscovering myself

Overcoming Limitations

The computer was running Windows 10. At first, I was super excited. For a moment, I felt like I was at the starting line of my dream, the vision I had been nurturing since childhood. Finally, I could learn how to make high-quality videos for my YouTube channel and maybe kickstart something of my own. A true step toward overcoming limitations.

But that excitement didn’t stick around for long.

The reality hit me hard: video editing wasn’t just about having ideas, it required some serious power. And my machine, with only 2 GB of RAM, could barely keep up. Even opening seven Chrome tabs felt like I was really pushing the poor thing to its limits. That’s when something clicked inside me, I started to dig deeper. I began to learn what truly makes a computer fast, how specs affect performance, and how the professionals build their machines.

Classes vs. Curiosity

Online classes? Boring and Lifeless! Just felt like background noise while I was really focused on figuring out how to make money online to snag the gear I needed for my dream. While teachers talking about algebra and history, I was lost in Google, freelancing, affiliate marketing, YouTube hacks or anything that could help me reach financial freedom.

During class, my parents would sometimes check in. I had to quickly switch tabs using just my keyboard and mouse, pretending to take notes. Funny enough, this little game of hide-and-seek turned out to be a blessing; I ended up getting super fast on the keyboard. It made me sharper, quicker, and way more confident.

But the more I searched for ways to earn, the more I ran into dead ends. Most of what I stumbled upon online? Total scams. Clickbait. Empty promises. Everyone acted like they had the “secret,” but none of it worked for a newbie like me.

Still, I wasn’t about to give up.

The Unskippable Level

I tried to hunt down real videos hidden in the vast wilderness of the internet, but came up empty…

While all this was happening, as you might remember, I was in the 10th grade ICSE. There were endless records to write, a process that felt meaningless, just to get marks and pass. We weren’t gaining anything from it, but it was a required step every student had to go through.

So, let’s pause the current story here and switch to a filler episode. To move forward, you have to meet the person who became a key part of my journey: my tuition teacher.
